I don’t know. clearly they are not opposites, and they aren’t categorically related in a way that bears out the comparison… i would expect it to be difficult to imagine anything *belonging* between these two vague connotations, but… maybe they are characters or caricatures, and certain themes of loss and longing and the impossible go there. unconsummated. allusions in some songs on the album.
